| Children's Liturgy |

A very special time for our young children, ages 3 - 7, to learn God's Word is provided at the 10:00am Mass on Sunday. The children are called and sent forth at the Liturgy of the Word so that the Sunday Gospel can be read and explained to them at a level appropriate for their age.

The parish's Catholic Youth Organization is a group of high school students who engage in social, cultural, athletic, apostolic and spiritual activities. All high school students are urged to participate.

Eucharistic Adoration in the Chapel every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am until 10:00pm.

| Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist |

Men and women of the parish who assist with the distribution of Holy Communion to the sick and shut-ins, and to parishioners at daily and weekend Masses.

Parishioners who are willing to spread the Gospel message and invite others to join our faith community.

o Welcoming Committee - Evangelization members visit and personally welcome and distribute a "welcome packet" to new parishioners.

| Family Life |
o Marriage Enrichment - This group supports couples in their vocation of marriage in order to strengthen family life.
o Marriage Preparation - Engaged couples can fulfill their archdiocesan requirements for marriage by working with a sponsor couple in this program.
o Respect Life - Family Life sponsors this program which encourages and supports life from conception to death and is available to all ages and levels.

The Finance Council advises the Pastor on finance, parish plant maintenance, salaries, future plans, etc.

| Greeters/Ministers of Hospitality |
|
Greeters are parishioners who are willing to come to the weekend Mass 20 minutes early once a month to greet other parishioners and visitors.

| High School of Religion
|
|
We offer continuing religious training for teenagers not enrolled in Catholic schools. Teens who want to be confirmed in the 11th grade must participate in a formal catechetical program for at least two years prior to the Sacrament of Confirmation.

| Hilltoppers |
|
The Hilltoppers are parishioners, 55 years and older, who meet once a month, take monthly day trips, maintain an active prayer line, and participate in charitable works.

| Hospital Ministry |

Hospital Ministry members visit members of the parish who are hospitalized.

| Hour of Intercession for Priests, Deacons and Religious |
|
Members meet at 9:30 A.M. in church on the second Wednesday of the month to pray for priests, deacons, religious and vocations.

A fraternal benefit society of Catholic men dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, brotherly love and patriotism.

|
This is a civic, social, and religious group for all ladies of the parish.

| Lay Carmelites |
|
Adult Catholics helping other adult Catholics grow deeper in faith while following the Carmelite way of life.

|
Men and women of the parish who proclaim the Word of the Lord at daily and Sunday Masses.

| Liturgy Committee |
|
A committee formed to provide the vision, planning, art, and environment for all parish liturgies.

| Meal Ministry |
|
Parishioners provide meals for individuals or families in the parish whose lives are disrupted due to hospitalization, major illness, or death.

| Music Ministry |
|
Men and women of the parish are given the opportunity to participate in daily or weekend liturgies through vocal or instrumental music in our Parish Choir.

| Offertory Gifts |
|
Families or individuals may volunteer to bring up the offertory gifts at each of the weekend Masses.

| Pastoral Council |
|
Members are appointed to this council to promote the spiritual and pastoral care of the parish through programs, committees, etc.

The homebound of the parish are given a sense of participation in the life and work of the Church by being commissioned to pray for the needs of the parish.

This group of parishioners networks to pray for the needs which are called in by other parishioners.

| RCIA --Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults |
|
The Rite of Christian Initiation is designed for adults not yet baptized who wish to become Catholics; adults baptized in another Christian church who wish to become Catholic; adult baptized Catholics who have not yet celebrated First Eucharist or received Confirmation; and adult baptized Catholics who wish to deepen their knowledge and renew their understanding of the Catholic faith.

This organization make Parish social functions even more enjoyable. They organize and plan events, decorate the site, arrange for food, and serve refreshments.

The St. Edward's Association of Men provides an active organization for all adult male parishioners to participate in the overall spiritual, cultural, academic, and social activities of the parish.
